A few years ago, I moved into my first real apartment — the kind of place that finally felt like mine. I wanted everything to feel intentional, elevated, and well put together. But when I went shopping for towels, the experience was disappointing. They were either cheap and rough, or “luxury” in name only — overpriced, stiff, and lifeless.
That gap stuck with me. Why was it so hard to find something as simple as a towel that felt soft, looked beautiful, and lasted?
So I started digging. I spoke to textile suppliers, tested different cottons, visited mills, and learned that the quality of a towel lives in the details: the length of the fiber, the weave, the weight, and the finishing. That’s where most brands cut corners — and where I refused to.
What began as a personal obsession turned into Monarch Home: a collection built on the belief that everyday essentials can feel extraordinary. Towels that don’t just dry you off — but wrap you in comfort. Pieces that don’t just sit in your home — but add to its atmosphere of calm and refinement.
